Creating a Healthy 2022

What is one of the most best things you can do for yourself in 2022? I bet many people reading this blog said, “Improving my health and wellness.” Well now you have an opportunity to make those words a reality.

We’re just a few weeks into the new year and I am here to motivate you to use this time wisely.

Getting healthy in the new year is a perfect idea because it allows for a fresh start and a clean slate. It can be so hard being held back by our weaknesses such as addictions and unhealthy behaviors such as eating fast food, consuming lots of sugar or smoking (and drinking too much).

I believe that the best way to begin getting healthy is with detoxification of your body, mind, and spirit.

Rejuvenation from the inside out

Many people do not know that when we eliminate toxins from our cells it has amazing psychological effects, like boosting moods and increasing mental performance. A huge component of detoxification (that almost nobody considers) is eliminating stress in one’s life. Stress builds up toxins in the body and zaps energy from us faster than anything else.

When you rejuvenate your cells, it boosts your body’s ability to remove toxins naturally through the blood and skin. The skin actually takes out many harmful substances that we put on our bodies or that we produce as a byproduct of metabolism (such as cholesterol). When we reduce stress levels and ensure that our organs are functioning properly and removing toxins from the bloodstream, our lives become much happier and more manageable.

For the Mind & Spirit

Another aspect of detoxification is the removal of impurities from one’s mind and spirit. There is no better time than now to make changes in those areas; whether they be mental exercises like meditation or memorizing scripture, spiritual rituals such as church attendance, or physical activities such as exercise (which will be discussed later), there is something for everyone in the new year.

There may be a lot of doubt about this among people who have tried and failed in previous years to get healthy, but I want you to know that anything is possible when you truly believe it. You need to have faith in yourself and your abilities, because without belief there will not be enough motivation to make the sacrifices needed to get healthy. If you maintain positive thoughts about what could happen if you got healthy, eventually all of your subconscious fears about failure will disappear and only the will to succeed will remain.

What are some health goals that you can set for yourself within the next 6 months? For the first time since I started blogging I am asking my readers (especially those reading this article) to comment on ideas. I want your input because I really am trying to get in touch with my readers.

Your health goals do not have to be limited to what is on this list, simply put any health goal that you would like for yourself below.
