Apple Cider Vinegar is the fastest acting natural remedy for heartburn. Take a 1 ounce shot of straight apple cider vinegar for instant relief. For preventative measures, take 1-2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water before each meal to counteract heartburn naturally.

Baking Soda will also give you instant heartburn relief. Just add a teaspoon to a glass of water and drink before meals.
  •  Lemon Water
Lemon Water also relieves and prevents heartburn. Add the juice of a half of lemon to a glass of water before eating each meal.
  • Ginger
Fresh ginger provides relief from heartburn. You can use ginger as a spice in cooking, eat it raw or make a ginger tea.To make ginger tea: Add one teaspoon of freshly grated ginger to one cup of boiling water. Let it steep for 5-10 minutes.

The water extracted from the coconut is a popular home remedy for heartburn. Coconut water controls heartburn by reducing inflammation and soothing and healing the intestinal tract. Drink 2 to 4 ounces before each meal.
