Miracles of Health prioritizes offering a superior product. This is why all our full-spectrum CBD is Certified Organic and extracted organically using NES Vapor Distillation solvent-free technology. This method concentrates the hemp using heat rather than hydrocarbon solvents; there is no possibility of residual solvents in our products. Other extraction methods require a finishing step to remove these solvents. During this removal process, terpenes are also lost and we believe them to be important to the overall efficacy of our products. In a world where many distinguish themselves through cost, we define ourselves by quality.
Miracles of Health Therapeutic Hemp products offer a unique and virtually limitless opportunity for growth in every area of life. Quality control and quality assurance to be our leading priority. All products are manufactured according to Good Manufacturing Practices and tested to exceed the specifications set forth by the FDA. We test, check, and verify for potency, purity, and consistency to ensure that all products are of highest quality.
From Plant to Production
Miracles of Health cares about each and every step in the cultivation and production of our full-spectrum hemp and hemp isolate products. We partner with northern Colorado hemp farmers who employ the best organic growing practices throughout the crop’s lifecycle.
Living Soil
For starters, our farmers build nutrient-rich “living” soil using organic composts and natural amendments. Living soil produces healthy harvests with minimal inputs, with more sustainable results than conventional agriculture. Our hemp is herbicide, pesticide and heavy metals-free. And by purchasing only organic cannabis, we keep toxins out of the human body and the environment that contribute to ill-health in numerous and unpredictable ways.
Our growers ensure that all plant materials meet the highest standards before and after harvest. The hemp is tested to assure appropriate cannabinoid levels, and plants are carefully harvested, dried and trimmed. The trim used for our salves and tinctures is meticulously sorted and stored before going through the supercritical vapor distillation, a solvent-free process.
Pure Processing
The extraction process that we rely upon is the first in the world to utilize heated air and a proprietary condensation method to selectively distill and isolate the active compounds within the hemp. This solvent-free process produces the cleanest, purest, terpene-rich hemp extracts, perfect for the “entourage effect” of our full spectrum products. This means the integrity of the cannabis plant’s beneficial cannabinoids and terpenes are maintained. Rather than relying on a single isolate like CBD, the entourage effect is the synergy of the various plant compounds working together to improve health.
Keep in mind that some full-spectrum products may contain trace amounts of THC (at or below the 0.3% national standard). However, when we describe a product as being 100% THC-free, we mean it. Be sure to check the label and review lab reports if you have any questions or concerns.
Health & History
The cannabis plant has deep roots. The Chinese used it as medicine thousands of years ago. George Washington grew hemp at his home. Throughout most of U.S. history, hemp was legal and used in tinctures and extracts.
However, when cannabis was outlawed in the U.S. in 1937, medical research involving the plant virtually came to a stop. Recently, new legislation has changed the status of hemp, and people are turning back to cannabis to improve health. Studies of hemp’s medicinal properties are again underway. Of special interest are the various cannabinoids, chief among them cannabidiol (CBD).
Humans (and animals) have an endocannabinoid system (ECS), an extensive network of neurotransmitters and receptors and the ability to produce endocannabinoids. Among other functions, these endocannabinoids help regulate mood, appetite, and pain.
The body can become deficient in endocannabinoids. This deficiency is being studied as an underlying cause of many unhealthy conditions. Researchers are exploring how plant cannabinoids can restore the balance.
In addition to consuming a full-spectrum, hemp/cannabinoid supplement to promote a healthy ECS, other steps can be taken to boost your endocannabinoid production.
Increase your Omega 3 intake
Exercise regularly
Take vitamins, supplements, and probiotics
Reduce consumption of alcohol
Eat plenty of leafy greens
Before a Miracles of Health Product reaches you, a sample is sent from each batch to an independent lab to validate with 100% accuracy that what’s on the label is in the bottle. The lab technician checks to ensure that potency levels will be maintained through the expiration date and then the product is passed with a Certificate of Analysis.
We will provide education so that your buying decision is an informed one. Our top priority is you and our customer service will reflect our desire to provide the smoothest buying experience possible.

Endocannabinoid Deficiency.Through the stresses and strains of modern living, the Endocannabinoid system can become depleted, making it less effective at bringing balance to the body. American neurologist, Dr. Ethan Russo has termed this as an Endocannabinoid deficiency, and suggests that it may be the root cause of difficult to explain illnesses such as migraines, fibromyalgia, MS, and IBS.
Pain Refief. The cannabidiol (CBD), found in the hemp plant, can decrease pain and inflammation. CBD is an alternative to the highly addictive opiate-based pain medications, such as Vicodin and OxyContin.
Anxiety.Endocannabinoids activate the part of the brain associated with feeling good. Supplementing with a full spectrum cannabinoid product can encourage the creation of receptors and endocannabinoids.
Immune System Support. Recent research suggest that CBD is a strong antioxidant that is more efficient than Vitamin C and Vitamin E at protecting cells from free radical damage.
Heart Health. The antioxidant properties in cannabinoids have been shown to benefit the heart and prevent cardiovascular disease. Animal studies suggest that cannabis treatment may prevent a range of cardiovascular conditions, including hypertension, stroke, coronary heart disease, atherosclerosis and heart attacks.
Quality Sleep. Cannabinoids in hemp extract are known to relieve pain, reduce anxiety and stress, and create a calming effect. All these factors contribute to increased sleep time and quality.
PMS Symptoms. The combination effect of cannabinoids blocking pain and reducing inflammation makes hemp extract a great option for women before or during their menstrual cycle.
Seizure Activity. CBD oil has been especially useful in for children with seizure disorders, in many cases allowing them to stop taking prescribed sedatives that cause lethargic behavior.
Addiction. There is accumulating research that cannabinoids, and CBD in particular, appear to be a therapeutic option for pain and anxiety, without the dangers of overdose and addiction. And a recent study also found that CBD may help treat symptoms that are know to trigger relapse in alcoholics and drug addicts, like anxiety, withdrawal symptoms, cravings and impulsivity.
Mental Health. Cannabinoids are being studied for their positive effects on the brain. Early studies indicate that CBD boosts signaling in serotonin receptors, which can reduce anxiety and boost mood. Other studies are finding that CBD boosts neuron production in the hippocampus, offering a promising treatment for depression.
Neurodegeneration Disorders. The endocannabinoid system connects the body with the parts of the brain that control many things, such as pain, movement, and memory. Research is currently being conducted to examine cannabinoids as a possible treatment for disorders such as Parkinsons, MS, Huntingtons, epilepsy, tremors, Alzheimers, and schizophrenia.
How Our CBD Works!
Miracles of Health full-spectrum hemp extract products offer a synergistic approach to bringing mind, body and spirit back into harmonious balance. The extract works by activating and supporting our own natural Endocannabinoid System (ECS).
Our extract is made from the highest quality, organically grown hemp. It contains significant levels of cannabidiol (CBD), as well as vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids, terpenes, flavonoids, and cannabinoids — a full spectrum of therapeutic compounds. These natural substances react with receptors and cellular pathways throughout the human body.
Bear in mind, hemp contains more than 80 different cannabinoids. Our whole plant extract comes from varieties of Cannabis sativa that, unlike marijuana, do not cause a “high.” While rich in non-psychoactive CBD, the plants contain only trace levels of tetrahydrocannbinol (THC) — 0.3% or less.
Our bodies naturally produce endocannabinoids. These signaling chemicals play a vital role in memory, mood, hormone balance, movement, sleep, immune health, pain management, cognition, appetite and neuro-protection. In short, the endocannabinoid system regulates “homeostasis”—a healthy state of balance.
Scientists have also identified that endocannabinoids interact with a specific neurological network, similar to the way endorphins, serotonin, and dopamine do. Receptors are located throughout the body, but they are concentrated in the immune system and make up the largest concentration of receptors in the brain.
Small doses of cannabinoids from whole plant hemp support the ECS by signaling the body to build more receptors and make more endocannabinoids. CBD works as a switch. It also seems to inhibit the breakdown of our own naturally occurring endocannabinoids. By supplementing with high quality hemp extract, we help bring the body back into balance.
Endocannabinoid System Science
The Endocannabinoid System (ECS) is a unique chemical messaging system active throughout the brain and body that affects many important functions.
The ECS produces endocannabinoids that play a role in regulating appetite, metabolism, stress response, learning, sleep, mood, pain, immune function, and more!
The ECS has preventative and protective mechanisms for the nervous and immune systems, initiates pain control, and calms inflammation.
The ECS was discovered in 1990, and its complex functions are still being researched.
Understanding the ECS is critical if we are to more effectively manage human health, especially chronic, debilitating diseases for which there are no orthodox cures. Some researchers suggest that when properly activated, the ECS may help suppress certain disease processes.
Evidence suggests that the ECS may even be involved in generating subtle-but-therapeutic shifts in the ways we perceive the world, relate to our internal landscape, think and feel about ourselves, and interact with each other. A healthy ECS increases our ability to be open to new perspectives and experiences.
Endocannabinoids are chemical compounds that our bodies make naturally to activate the receptors within the ECS. When the body is stressed, endocannabinoids go to work to fix the problem.
Cannabinoids are chemical compounds originating outside the body. There are more than 100 known cannabinoids, including cannabidiol (CBD), found in the hemp plant (Cannabis sativa).
CBD works as a switch to turn on the endocannabinoid system. Research has shown that small doses of cannabinoids from hemp can signal the body to make more endocannabinoids and build more cannabinoid receptors.
CBD is also thought to prevent the breakdown of endocannabinoids, which promotes homeostasis—equilibrium—by balancing metabolic functions, nutrient transportation, energy storage, and insulin sensitivity.
Understanding Endocannabinoid Deficiency Through the stresses and strains of modern living, the endocannabinoid system can become depleted, impacting its role of bringing balance to the body.
American neurologist Dr. Ethan Russo has termed this “endocannabinoid deficiency,” suggesting that it lies at the root of many difficult-to-explain illnesses such as fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis, irritable bowel syndrome, and even migraines.
According to Dr Russo, “If you don’t have enough endocannabinoids, you have pain where there shouldn’t be pain.”
For thousands of years, elixir’s/tinctures have been widely used by ancient civilizations. Now, modern science is uncovering and validating their beliefs that nature holds the power to heal our bodies and minds, safely and effectively.
One of the main benefits of an elixir is the ease of consumption. All you have to do is place a small amount of the elixir solution from the dropper under your tongue. Leave the solution under the tongue to be absorbed completely; do not swallow. This method is known as sublingual absorption, providing the longest therapeutic effects.
Elixir’s, or tinctures, are viewed as the most effective means of utilizing the sublingual route for Therapeutic Hemp administration. Why are they so effective? Since the elixir enters the body through sublingual absorption, it is able to bypass first pass metabolism because of the large amount of capillaries below the tongue.
In a study that compared the bioavailability of oral and sublingual CBD solutions, the results showed that the CBD that was sublingually absorbed illustrated significantly higher bioavailability than the CBD that was taken orally.
Bioavailability of CBD varies greatly depending on the method of administration. In addition to the sublingual consumption of CBD, the most common applications are topical, ingestion, and inhalation.
Sublingual Options
As we mentioned, when Therapeutic Hemp Oil is administered sublingually, it’s held under the tongue for up to 90 seconds so that the mucus membranes in the mouth can absorb the oil’s active ingredients, ensuring not to swallow the elixir. The benefit of consuming CBD oil sublingually is that the absorption process bypasses the digestive system and liver metabolization, allowing the compounds to reach your bloodstream and interact with the endocannabinoid system more quickly.
Topical Options
Some CBD oil products are designed to be applied directly onto the skin. The active ingredients in these topical CBD products are absorbed through the skin so that they can interact with cells that are nearby the surface without ever entering the bloodstream. Topical CBD oil products are ideal for those looking for isolated pain relief. You need to ensure that the skin remains moisturized to receive the benefits over a longer period of time.
Ingestion Options
Studies performed where CBD was administered orally showed very low bioavailability levels.
When you ingest CBD oil, it passes through the digestive system, entering your gut and metabolized through the liver, before eventually sending its active compounds to your bloodstream.
During this transition, the liver will actively reduce the amount of CBD, either through absorption or through chemical breakdown by liver enzymes. This phenomenon is called the “first-pass effect,” where passing through the liver reduces the concentration of bioactive compounds.
CBD Isolates have been refined to a single molecule, while full spectrum hemp products use the whole plant and preserve many different molecules within the extract.
Research suggests that single-molecule CBD is less effective therapeutically than whole plant, CBD-rich hemp extract. Scientific studies have established that synthetic CBD has a very narrow therapeutic window. Whether synthesized in a lab or isolated from natural hemp, single-molecule CBD lacks critical secondary cannabinoids and other medicinal compounds that interact to enhance health benefits. Scientists call this synergy among compounds the “entourage effect.” In short, the therapeutic impact of whole plant cannabis is greater than the sum of its parts.
The approach we recommend is to begin taking a specific amount of Elixir or Isolate twice a day for the first 3-4 days so you can assess its effect. Then increase or decrease the amount based on the results.
Taking the Elixir sublingually—by placing the drops beneath your tongue—is perhaps the fastest and most efficient method of absorption. You may begin to feel relief within minutes. If you add it to a drink or food, you’ll wait longer for the effects, but it may prevent potential side effects like headaches and dysphoria.
Topical formulas applied to the skin provide slow, uniform absorption, while the soothing oils moisturize and localize the benefits of the cannabinoids over a longer period of time.
Although our whole-plant hemp extracts contain only trace amounts of THC, we cannot say with 100% certainty that you will pass a drug test when consuming the product.
We’re not aware of anyone becoming intoxicated from taking our hemp extract. Cannabidiol (CBD) is neither psychoactive nor addicting.
Among its many benefits, some customers describe the general effect as “a sense of calm.” Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is the compound in cannabis that makes one feel “high.” The amount of THC in hemp is negligible (0.3% or less).
Thanks to legislative changes in 2018, hemp products were removed from the Controlled Substances Act. Hemp contains virtually no tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the intoxicating substance prevalent in marijuana. The federal standard for hemp is 0.3% or less.
At Miracles of Health we leave nothing to chance. We provide quality assurance by having all of our hemp products tested by an accredited laboratory for purity and strength. Check the label. What’s on the bottle is in the bottle! Colorado is a hemp-friendly state. However, some states do impose restrictions on hemp and CBD products, while the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is still working out consumer protection standards on a national level.
Look for products with clear labels showing the quantity of CBD per dose, a “best by” date, and a quality control “lot” number. Select products with quality ingredients: no corn syrup, transfats, GMOs, artificial additives, thinning agents, or preservatives.
Products should be tested by an accredited lab for consistency and verified as being free of mold, bacteria, pesticides, solvent residues, and other contaminants.
Avoid products extracted using toxic solvents like butane, propane, hexane or other hydrocarbons. We use a safe extraction method, a unique vapor distillation process for all Miracles of Health hemp and CBD products.
It depends on dosage, method of consumption, your biochemistry, and the nature of the problem.
Generally, CBD takes effect in 20-30 minutes, but the range can be a few minutes to a couple of hours. Keep in mind, the effects are subtle. After several uses, many people report that they notice the Elixir taking the edge off within minutes.
With respect to using extracts and isolates, it’s often a case of “less is more.” In certain studies, high doses of CBD have been shown to be less effective than low or moderate doses. The World Health Organization reports that “CBD is generally well tolerated with a good safety profile.”
The organization’s 2018 review of CBD states, “In general, CBD has been found to have relatively low toxicity, although not all potential effects have been explored.” Our Elixirs come in varying strengths and with a precision dropper so you can start with a low dose and adjust based on how you feel.
This is the perfect question to ask your doctor. Cannibidiol (CBD) is a prominent compound in full spectrum extracts and isolates. CBD is a more potent inhibitor of cytochrome P450 than the grapefruit compound Berapten.
If grapefruit interacts with your medication, then CBD probably does, too. Your physician may want to monitor your blood levels for potential changes once he or she gives you the go-ahead, adjusting prescriptions as needed.

The Endocannabinoid System (ECS) is a major chemical-signaling network that works throughout the brain and body.
The ECS maintains healthy equilibrium by modulating functions such as appetite, digestion, metabolism, stress, sleep, mood, pain, immune response, and movement.
Signs may include a high sensitivity to pain, anxiety, or “low” moods, junk food addiction, chronic pain and/or inflammation, and difficult-to-treat skin conditions.
There is a lot of scientific interest in this very question. Researchers are looking for links between the ECS and conditions such as migraines, fibromyalgia, and irritable bowl syndrome.
Evidence suggests that a dysfunctional ECS may play a role in immune problems, fatigue, chronic pain, mood disorders, and PTSD.
