Homemade Electrolyte Energy Drinks

Usually, drinking plenty of water is sufficient to keep you well-hydrated, post-workout. However, there are instances when that may not be enough (when you’re ill, in the sun too long, pregnant, or have been exercising strenuously for well over an hour). Coconut water is a great alternative to energy drinks, but if you’re looking for something a little bit more flavorful try one of these. The salt will help your body retain the water it needs, and the citrus juices contain electrolytes to help regulate bodily functions. Plus, they’re a lot cheaper than their store-bought counterparts.
