How does ph Balance affect our body wellness?
Since the body is largely made up of water it can be acid or alkaline based, depending on our emotions, what we eat and drink, and the influences of our environment. Keeping the amount of water constant in our body is a must for ionization and proper chemical reactions. Our body depends on hydration in order for the systems to operate efficiently, and perform their specific functions.
The blood transports oxygen, nutrients, and bio chemicals constantly throughout our bodies, creating our “River of Life”. pH( potential of Hydrogen is a measurement to determine whether something is too acidic or alkaline. The pH balance in the body is vital in maintaining good health. A pH of 7 indicates neutral, a pH below 6 indicates acidity, and a pH in excess of 7 indicates alkalinity.
The two easiest methods of testing the pH in our bodies are through saliva and urine. You can purchase pH level indicator strips at any health store or online. The best time to test the pH through saliva is in the morning when you first wake up. Place the test strip directly under the tongue and write down the pH number once the strip is moistened with saliva. Do this before brushing your teeth, drinking, smoking, or even eating. If your saliva pH stays between 6.5 to 7.5 all day, your body is functioning in a healthy range. Same with urine, you’ll want to test first thing in the morning. Your urine may be more acidic in the morning, so two hours after your first meal test your pH and write the number down. If your urinary pH fluctuates between 6.0 and 6.5 in the morning and between 6.5 and 7.0 in the evening the body is functioning within a healthy range.
Alkalizing interrupts the cycle of excess acid, it makes the difference between life and death. Too much acid in the blood causes red blood cells to stick together like glue, they become sick and eventually die. The death of red blood cells triggers more acid to be released into the blood stream; in return creating a repetitive cycle of toxins inhabiting the blood. Acid in the system creates a breakdown of the delicate balance in our bio chemistry, so it is that much more important to keep regular, healthy, and stable. “The greatest mistake a man can make is to sacrifice health for any other advantage.”- Arthur Schopenhaven, German Philosopher
What generates acid in the blood?
- Emotions, mostly negative, such as anger, frustration, resentment, guilt, and shame.
- Over consumption of animal protein, dairy, carbohydrates, cooked oils, sugar, radiation (computers), and environmental pollutants.
- Creating a balanced alkalize blood stream in essential for healing. PuraGreen contains many of the ingredients I personally have used and still use to achieve a PH of 7.
